about

"Hamburg’s fine impro-trio Treibgut blesses us with a wonderful EP this summer. After a brief hiatus the three boys have refined their trademark sound even more - sitting confidently somewhere between techno, house and melodic electronica. While Treibgut’s shows normally are almost ethereal snapshots due to their improvisational nature, we were able to convince them to hold down two of their finest results on tape.
The outcome is a two-track EP - complemented by spot-on reinterpretations from two early supporters of our label: Iorie and the duo Peng Peng. One remix convinces with a straight-forward club approach while the B-Side is a bit more mellow and relaxed. The whole package comes wrapped up as tasty vinyl with a beautiful artwork. Also: Did we mention the title track was composed on the peak of a liveshow at Sisyphos’ legendary Hammahalle…?"
